  • 10 niche mac apps for web developers
ColorSlurp is my preferred color picker. It too has multiple keyboard shortcuts as well as a bunch of other great little features to make it a well-rounded picker. And as a heavy Alfred user, I love that there is a heavy support for URL schemes so I can trigger a bunch of actions via external scripts. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Just got a Mac, what are some of your must-have apps and software to have on it?
Haven’t seen them mentioned yet but ColorSlurp is a slick colour picker and MeetingBar is an awesome meeting reminder tool that lives in your menu bar and gives you a quick prompt to join a Zoom/Teams/whatever meeting. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Designing for Serious Business - SpotVirtualHQ
A big part of my job is choosing colors that are easy on the eyes and won’t over stimulate. I suggest you choose neutral colors first and then add in slightly toned down branding colors trickled throughout the space. Another way to keep things toned down is to not create high contrast, for example whatever color your walls are, make window trims the same color to help blend it out. Personally, I am a big fan of... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Underrated MacOS applications and softwares
I don’t know whether everybody would benefit from this, but I know designers definitely will, and that’s an app called ColorSlurp, its a powerful desktop colour picker. It’s great for picking colours from webpages or images and dropping it right into Illustrator, Photoshop etc. https://colorslurp.com. Source: about 2 years ago

  • Looking for timeline creation software
I'm looking for something that can help me visualize a timeline for a worldbuilding/writing project I'm working on. Most of what I've found online when looking for timeline creators are the kinds of things you use to make fancy infographics or slides for meetings or business proposals. Basically just a more focused Microsoft Publisher. I did find one thing, though. It's time.graphics. The functions seem perfect... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Timeline Advice
I have never found a genealogy base application that will do it. I have played around with the Google Docs option detailed in that link, and you can get it to look good but it's very time consuming. There's other options such as: https://time.graphics/ that are easier to use but the free options are limited. Source: about 1 year ago
  • A timeline of star wars games I made a long while back
Thank you! And yes it was made with https://time.graphics/ , its a bit restrictive but if you like follow them then unfollow them on instagram or I think youtube then you get like a month of free premium which takes all the restrictions off. For instance if I didn't have premium when I made this I wouldn't be able to go over like 20 events on the timeline, which would have made it less than half complete. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Review of timeline plotting application : time.graphics
As a student of History I have to memorise lot of events of the past with appropriate context to them. After a lot of search I found the web application called time.graphics where I can plot various events along with their significance and how one lead to another eventually. It also provides the option of attaching images and links to the events. The best part about it is it is extremely user-friendly. Source: over 1 year ago
