  ColorSlurp is my preferred color picker. It too has multiple keyboard shortcuts as well as a bunch of other great little features to make it a well-rounded picker. I suggest you choose neutral colors first and then add in slightly toned down branding colors trickled throughout the space.   I don’t know whether everybody would benefit from this, but I know designers definitely will, and that’s an app called ColorSlurp, its a powerful desktop colour picker.   Guru.com and similar website have tons of resources for starting freelancers. You won't land yourself a cushy programming job in the first week, you may need to hustle long work weeks and multiple employers, but if you are a trained programmer, you shouldn't have much trouble finding a job, after you take care of yourself.
