I'd recommend to play around with some basic coding challenges on leetcode.com or codewars.com. If the course prepared you well you won't find this useful, but playing around with them will make sure that you are comfortable with basics such as loops, if statements etc. Source: almost 2 years ago

So while I used MagicUML way back in my CAD/Catia days, it's unsupported for python. Then Eclipse has one https://www.eclipse.org/papyrus/ but no python support. I've heard people have used StarUML https://staruml.io ,but it looks like it generates flowcharts based on GUI interface graphical models for javascript you build and, I guess also for the javascript in StarUML which helps generate some python code based...
