Codenames is a challenging social word game with a simple premise. Red and blue teams compete to correctly guess the secret identities of a series of code words. Each word has a secret identity as a red agent, blue agent, neutral or a death word. The commander of the red team gives one-word and one-number clues to their teammates to help them guess the identities of the words, while the commander of the blue team does the same. The first team to correctly guess all of their words wins the game. The game is a fun way to practice vocabulary, deduction, and teamwork. It is available both online and as a board game, and it can be played with friends or family.
