However, a little research was enough to dispel that misconception. Yes, there was a technical aspect to programming, but most developers weren't doing complex calculations all the time. So, my preconceptions faded away and turned into great curiosity and interest. I started studying JavaScript, HTML, and CSS on YouTube and also studied on Codecademy platform. - Source: dev.to / 1 day ago

If you really have decided to become the next Guru on Scratch then you should learn at least one real programming language like JavaScript. I have tested OBS's Virtual Camera feature, but it only provides a single virtual camera from what I've tried. I also tested a piece of software called Webcamoid. I am not sure it would enable multiple instances either. Source: about 1 year ago
That did not seem to do anything with Cheese, however it lead me down a rabbithole to https://webcamoid.github.io/ with links to virtual camera drivers for "akvcam" and "v4l2loopback" which solved the issue within browser. I installed both, not sure which one was needed. Source: almost 2 years ago
Yes, obs-virtualcam, or this open source thing will do it https://webcamoid.github.io/. Source: about 2 years ago
I would have liked to take better quality pictures, but this was the best my webcam could muster (at least when using Webcamoid).
