I am using a free email server (cock.li) and it is kind of slow. The config file works to compose and send messages from within the program. When I send a message from the command line, however, I get an "alarm clock" message, and the message doesn't send. I have found that "alarm clock" is a timeout, and I know this server is slow. The problem is you want a free provider. The only one I know of which meets your requirements is Vivaldi mail. I don't know if it's good. The company is reputable and worthy of trust. It also offers an email client embedded in its browser. Source: almost 2 years ago
