Except that there is. Cloudflare is pretty great for free SSL certificates and DNS management, but they also offer a free Workers plan. This is essentially a watered down version of the "MVC" architecture. I use http lib of node for server and requests, cheerio for webscraping and Sendinblue for sending the emails and mongodb (atlas) for storing all of the data.
