That is correct. It's a separate interface which doesn't tie into File Explorer. Its not ONTAP specific, as it supports a wide variety of data sources. Most Likely scenario is that your client is using a service with something like cPanel setup. This is where they would get or set-up access credentials for you to then transfer the files via sftp.
