I just use Spotify on my phone with my AirPods. I don't know what generation my AirPods are because they were a gift. When a song isn't on Spotify I use YouTube. This is for all music I like. I use the Local Files feature on Spotify a lot. If a song I truly love isn't on Spotify I'll convert the YouTube video to an MP3 file and have it on my Local Files.
