  What is the reason you are trying to go custom? https://circle.so this is probably the best platform I have seen. Big and small companies use it (even webflow) so it has great adoption works well.   As for music, I use a spotify premium account to do a remote listening session. It's been my best solution so far. A friend of mine uses watch2gether.com, its a great free option to integrate music and video streaming. It's not ideal for a whole host of reasons, if you ask me, but it IS free and simple. It helps a lot! You can stream music simultaneously online by sharing your screen or using Watch2gether. - Take good notes of your plans, and have a player take notes during the game to help you keep track of what you've communicated...
