Upgraded 2.5" HDD to an older SSD I repurposed. Because it's from 2019 or very early 2020, it's likely that may be the slowdown culprit. (It's also only 120GB SSD.) TRIM is not enabled so going to rectify that now based on this. Thank you for that tip! Source: about 1 year ago
