Chkrootkit mentions (1)

  • Does something like Tinywall in Linux make sense?
If you are extremely worried about root kits you would need to start with a clean system and then whitelist any "positives". If your concerned you would have to use the tedious method of using dpkg to determine what package a file belongs to, one at a time, and then compare it's checksum to the back installed... I would also recommend using only the latest version from the website directly http://chkrootkit.org/... Source: almost 3 years ago

  • What antivirus works best with Windows Defender?
Alternatively if you just want to beef up Defender there are tools like DefenderUI (defenderui.com) and VoodooShield (voodooshield.com). Source: almost 1 year ago
  • How can you allow games like Fortnite to update/load without giving Admin access to kids accounts?
This doesn't directly answer your question but give https://voodooshield.com/ a try. It's basically a .exe whitelist with a huge internal database of known safe programs. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is it really worth it to have another antivirus other than windows defender?
