I think the metric that will determine which coins are 'going somewhere' will be there utility. I've been living off Bitcoin since 2013 (thanks to Gyft in the earlier days) and I spend crypto daily on things like hotels (cheapair.com) & food (Bitrefill). Whatever safe bed you can find at this point. You've left it too late to be picky and it's looking like it's going to be the start of the the busiest, boomiest tourist season here in Italy ever. Expect to have to stay very, very, very far from city centers and transit connections or to pay $400+/night on a place.
