• Child care in Napa/ looking for a Nanny

  Hi folks, were moving to Napa at the end of the month and are looking into options for childcare for our one year old. Were looking for nannys on care.com and that has been hit or miss.   We do all paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation and unlimited sick leave (we trust our nanny and she does not abuse this benefit). We also provide a health care stipend and a yearly bonus. Our nanny is also on our car insurance and has full use of our car to take kids to activities/preschool etc. If she ever has to use her car, we provide mileage reimbursement.   What is your line of work? Is it food service? It all depends on what you do for a living or what you want to do. Washington, Connecticut, Massachusetts and California have all gone to a $15 an hour minimum wage. The cost of living is high in California so I would not recommend that state. any employer paying less than 15 an hour is so unethical that nobody should work for them.
