  Just like most online narrative reviews people would rarely have reason to come here and post "I love care.com I just found a nanny!" it's a pointless post, people only tend to post to complain or get help with an issue. Care.com is more popular than ever and in most markets it's far and away the most popular app outside of Facebook and its various groups. I like the site but can still acknowledge its gotten worse...   I'm glad you stood up for yourself, in this situation, but a word of caution that much like how the care.com calculator skews low, that one skews a bit high and can fluctuate. I just looked it up and for my area I am making what it suggests...for twins. I have the highest rate I know of (mind you, only after generous raises).   Absolutely don't go into any home that's not government funded. If you have extra cash, pay it to hire someone through, e.g., care.com to visit your Dad in the home and provide extra assistance.   That's great from the driver's point-of-view no doubt there but its not from a customer's point-of-view, it's as easy as just go to doordash.com and it'll say that you can order food and get it delivered, in the process you can leave a tip for the driver, it says nothing about having to do calculations to cover a driver's time, gas, etc, let me quote that for you:.   When you see areas like this, go to doordash.com type in an address in the area (it can be an address to a tacobell etc) and look at the merchants avail for delivery because most time no one is open and dd just wants someone 'on call' in case there might be a chance of an order.
