Does anyone know of an app trying to solve this problem: You want to give your phone number to someone you just met. The humans have to exchange the digits by talking or typing. On Mac there is (was?) Hazel, the closest thing on Linux is tfeldmann/organize: The file management automation tool., it uses Python. An alternative would be benjaminoakes/maid: Be lazy. Let Maid clean up after you, based on rules you define. Think of it as "Hazel for hackers"., but it uses Ruby, which I don't know. Source: over 2 years ago
Organize is very good, it's written in modern python, and easy to use, but Hazel is still easier. Maid has arguably a better name, but is written in ruby, which I'm not proficient in. Source: almost 3 years ago
