  • Tips for starters
1.) An idea that's fleshed out. What do you want to talk about? Why? How will your show be different than the hundreds of thousands of other shows out there. 2.) Equipment. ie a mic, something to record to and good headset so that you can listen. 3.) Edit software. There's a range of stuff available from free to really expensive. We use Audacity which is free and it does the job. 4.) a host site. We use... Source: over 2 years ago

MicMute mentions (7)

  • Keychron K8 PRO - remap mute microphone [Win10-Lenovo]
I’ve kinda made it work by installing an application called MicMute that mutes the microphone with a hotkey, (something like CTRL + ALT + M) then using VIA to map that hotkey to a button on the keyboard. Source: about 1 year ago
  • x17 R1 Mute Button Always Illuminated + Other Issues
Hello, I found this program: https://sourceforge.net/projects/micmute/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Temporary fix for push to talk until it's added to the game
There's a free app on SF called mutemic. You can bind a keyboard key and have push to talk for your mic. Alternatively you can toggle it on or off as well. When you have the push to talk function you can toggle between always on or off by double tapping the keybind. It's a good compromise until we have the functionality in game. https://sourceforge.net/projects/micmute/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • What’s wrong with my push-to-talk?
I think the easiest fix I found right now is to download MicMute app (https://sourceforge.net/projects/micmute/) set it up to function like push to talk.. Then switch your voice activation to open in siege and you should be good. Source: over 2 years ago
  • New to voice chat. How do?
But it's kinda hard to find the switch on the cord during gameplay. And the DAC is not that close to my keyboard. I think I would find a way to get a keyboard or mouse shortcut over those methods. MicMute is one app I found and might try if the in-game stuff doesn't work out. This might have bugs too.
