That's why I built buyforlife.com to tackle these issues. The goal was to build a sort of "Productpedia", where people can search and filter through the most durable products of the world, constantly updated and maintained by the community. Jupe is another company, and they say they will give you one if you sign an agreement to have it on a rental network. Which might be something some people need to do but it requires land, and infrastructure to really get that going. Though you could DIY something like that. Source: over 2 years ago
