The RedKetchup - Bulk Image Resizer allows you to resize, convert, or compress multiple images at once online. It can compress PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or HEIC images in batch without losing quality. Finally, it can bulk convert images to the PNG, JPEG, WEBP, HEIC, GIF, ICO, TIFF, or BMP formats.
Bulk Image Resizer by RedKetchup might be a bit more popular than App Icon Maker. We know about 6 links to it since March 2021 and only 5 links to App Icon Maker. If you're willing to download/save images first, then something like a batch compressor would likely make things easier. I can see how the creator not showing an accurate image size can be misleading. Something like this: https://redketchup.io/bulk-image-resizer. Source: 12 months ago

I am looking for an image compression software which I can erase or edit all metadata and with which I can set a specific target compression image file size. Of course it should also be able to do advanced batch processings. I have been searching the web for a while now, didnt find anything except this: Bulk Image Resizer - Edit Multiple Images Online | RedKetchup, but that is online only. Source: almost 2 years ago
Are you saying to want to use the native 32x32 RPG has, and that you're trying to use 48x48 art from somewhere else? Plugins don't even sound like a good solution for this easy problem anyway. Use this site, it's a bulk image resizer, you'll ofc lose some detail since you'll be downsizing but I hope you knew that already since you're using an incorrect ratio. Source: over 2 years ago

You can also automatically generate some of the required icons, not the dynamic ones however (makes sense as you need 2 layers for them) using this... Source: about 1 year ago
I use https://appiconmaker.co. The only issue is that you need to manually open every icon in preview, go to file > export as (I think) > and then uncheck the "alpha" (this will cause you problems when uploading to the app store.). Source: about 2 years ago
When you have an app that is ready to go the stores, you must have an app icon. And you have one because your design team did a great job on creating one! But you must have them in a couple of specific dimensions, with square and rounded corners, for both iOS and Android. To spare yourself and designers from this time consuming and boring task, there are some web applications that can do that for you, and the best... - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
