  This is essentially a watered down version of the "MVC" architecture. I use http lib of node for server and requests, cheerio for webscraping and Sendinblue for sending the emails and mongodb (atlas) for storing all of the data.   For web maps I'd strongly recommend using OpenLayers. While it's less convenient to get started with compared to the alternatives it's also much more feature-complete and you'll likely hit a ceiling in terms of functionality much later than you would with the others. Source: 12 months ago
