I'm using the port 2 RJ45 serial port on the Click, and that's connected to a serial to USB converter for the receiving machine. On the receiving machine I opened up this program and matched the settings exactly to how they're configured on the Click PLC send command. I send 10000 bytes of data over COM port. First I recorded with the third-party terminal. I used Bray++ and after receiving the data I don't see any major change in memory usage. It is around 3.3MB before and after. Now on the other hand when I use my version it goes from like 44MB to 47MB! A massive increase in memory usage. When I clear the string it returns to around 44MB. Killercoda has free labs, I recommend doing those. And there are a few other sites offering paid practice exams or even question dumps, but some of those seem sketchy. I'd personally stick to KodeKloud, killer.sh and Killercoda. Source: over 1 year ago
