  • I’m new
The first cool thing you can do is look for a bible translation you like. For now, every common translation will do. Some (english speakers) like the heavy tone of the King James Version, others like a more timely translation like NIV. Check a website like bibleserver.com to compare different translations and see what suits your fancy. If you don't read much and don't like reading, consider an "easy to read"... • Oh really, Paul? Because it's actually made plainly clear in Matthew 7:1-5, in Luke 6:37-42, in John 8:1-8, and again in James 4:11-12 that God says for humans not to judge others. Jesus himself told people not to judge others. I thought you were supposed to know your Bible. Clearly you don't.

I‘m not that familiar with Biblegateway other than it‘s a good website, so maybe you find a lot of... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Fr Mike’s Bible in a Year can’t hold my attention
I use bibleserver to read along in my native language (they don't have the RSV used by the podcast though), whenever there's something interesting in the text I pause the podcast and make a note with my personal account. For example, today's reading of Job 26 contained a reference to Rahab ("By his power he stilled the sea; by his understanding he smote Rahab" Job 26:12 RSV), so I just added a note "What/who is...
