If a game isn't available on Steam you have three possibilities. First if it's available on GOG, Epic Games or Amazon Gaming, you could use the Heroic Games Launcher.   • Is it worth using applications that respect my privacy?
    I'd also like to throw in Windows Ameliorated as an option to a less bloated, more privacy friendly version of Windows. Been using it myself for the last couple of years and haven't run into many issues. Only real issue I had is that I had to manually install .NET Framework from the windows iso for gaming, but a quick search solved that. Source: 11 months ago
