  My company instituted Bonusly and honestly its been great to have a system similar to what you are talking about. A way to give people 5-10 credits of recognition publicly so that it can add up to a $10 gift card after 10-20 "gifts" so far has been a great way to encourage each other to be helpful.   You can use a local print shop or online ones. I hear shutterfly.com is good but I haven't used it and the prices look a bit much. Also, Etsy has vintage art for sale where they print it for you. You just gotta find a shop with that print offered in it and make sure they sell it as a print and not the free digital file.   As far as what to get your host family, photo gifts and handmade items have been the best so far. One former student hit up shutterfly.com and had gifts made using pictures of her with us.
