When I look at my inbox on protonmail, I can see 3 senders that have an icon associated with their emails. One is netflix using which is using BIMI on their account.netflix.com domain. But then there are 2 others: steam with their steampowered.com domain and bolt with their bolt.eu domain. However neither of them have a BIMI record nor gravatar (FYI I did check the whole email, not just the sender domain). Source: over 1 year ago
Speak of cabs.. Use the "Bolt" App. You can use it to call and pay for offical cabs just like Uber. Uber is pretty much broken in Vienna for a year or two now since it was regulated heavily. Source: almost 2 years ago

Use cab services such as eCabs, Bonju and Bolt so you know what you're paying for. Some visitors rent cars or motorcycles, but please do so with caution...traffic is horrible in Malta and it can get a bit dangerous(!). Source: almost 2 years ago

This could potentially enable the lower class for higher profit margins. For a country that's a big player in software, we sure don't have many open source projects :(. Source: 12 months ago

Have you seen LibreTaxi (https://libretaxi.org/)? You might want to build on top on that. Source: about 2 years ago
There is this app that works using telegram API. It's called libre taxi. https://libretaxi.org/ One advantage with this project is that it is self hosted and federated. Source: about 2 years ago
A project like libretaxi allows drivers to set their own prices and "haggle" with customers. I think it's a turn off for a customer to not know the price beforehand, and nobody appears to use that service. We would have a way that we democratically decide on a price to set and a percentage that the driver gets, giving drivers the ability to make decisions about how the company is run and ways it can benefit the...
