Hipcamp allows to break down barriers normally set by private land access by the public. It's an amazing idea and it's probably going to keep expanding around the world because it's a win-win for both campers and landowners (local farms, ranches, etc). I had fantastic experiences and met wonderful people at Hipcamps!
Hipcamp might be a bit more popular than Blueground. We know about 1 link to it since March 2021 and only 1 link to Blueground. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
We did a furnished short-term rental from Blueground. I think the website is theblueground.com. There is also Hello Landing but it seems more expensive. We've been doing a lot of hiking and the beach which is free. We've also found a few good thrift stores near Fairfax and Melrose. Source: over 2 years ago
You might also check out Hipcamp. We have camped at some really interesting spots through this site. Source: about 3 years ago
