Block Sender's answer
Block Sender started 10 years ago as a simple browser extension to make it easier to create Gmail filters. Over the years, it has evolved to a powerful tool for protecting your inbox from unwanted emails and for sharing blocks among many email accounts. Since then, we've served hundreds of thousands of customers, including many high-profile individuals who needed help making their inbox usable again.
Block Sender's answer
Block Sender is unique in many ways:
Based on our record, Unroll.me seems to be a lot more popular than Block Sender. While we know about 62 links to Unroll.me, we've tracked only 1 mention of Block Sender. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
When creating blocksender.io, I found out the hard way that you'll need a lot of error checking, retries, etc when retrieving emails. The Gmail API often returns HTTP 500 statuses and has lots of edge cases. So make sure you test your applications thoroughly and handle as many potential issues as possible in your code. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
Thought I would drop this here for those looking to unsubscribe. Doesn't work 100% but has helped me clean a lot out. https://unroll.me/. Source: 11 months ago
Hey. I hope you get access to it soon. I'm developing a plugin similar to unroll.me - it will help you to unsubscribe from those unwanted pesky emails automatically. To be honest, I'm developing this for myself, I'm not sure if I would even release it publicly since most people are not comfortable sharing email access with 3rd parties (and rightfully so). Most of these are just newsletters and typical spam. They have your email to send you this stuff from when you made your old accounts. You can unsubscribe from each service manually (usually a small "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email). Or try this tool to unsubscribe from most of them quickly. Source: 12 months ago
Another vote for unroll.me. Only way I'm able to handle my email. Source: about 1 year ago
