Paid subscription service, seems to be of good quality. Although I've never actually tried it, I've been hearing that the people behind it may be doing some shady business. Which VPN do you use, out of curiosity? For me, the Calyx VPN app drains a substantial amount of battery, even with the 'Save battery' toggle on, so I can't really use it for extended periods. For example areena.yle.fi, it has videos that are geoblocked from everyone outside of Finland and videos are hosted at various other sites. Adding areena.yle.fi to my exclusion list doesn't help, the videos still don't work. I have tried this with Surfshark and vpn.ac, I have to disable VPN completely to get the videos working. I would recommend you to get FLINT from gl-inet. It supports both OpenVPN and Wireguard. I am using it with ProtonVPN, tested it with mullvad and vpn.ac as well. Source: over 1 year ago

I moved from vpn.ac to Astrill a few years ago and I have no regrets. It may be a bit more expensive than the others but is a VPN really something that you want to go cheap on? You can try express. A friend of mine uses something called shadowsocks which isn't exactly a vpn but it is ... I didn't understand it. Just pay the money and get a reliable vpn bud lol. Source: about 2 years ago
