  • Intend to get into Quant, What’s my next step?
As for resources to help you learn more about the finance side of things, there’s a couple I love and use religiously. Benzinga Pro ($99/month) offers stock news, insights, and others useful tips and educational content about investing. Black Swan Street (free) is another great one and is very similar to Benzinga, but doesn’t break the bank. Source: 10 months ago
  • What's the best website for stock discovery?
Https://pro.benzinga.com/ You can get much of the same info for free if you get TDAmeritrade(also free). I combine that with the treasury bond rates to stay out of the way of big hedge fund moves. Then you can do all your analysis in ThinkOrSwim(also free). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Local host error when using selenium
Why is it even trying to connect with my localhost if I am requesting it to navigate to "https://pro.benzinga.com/". Every time I try and run my code it gives me this error. Only started happening since using xampp and live server in visual studios code. Since then I have deleted and deactivated both and the error still is present, I have been running the script for the past 2 months. Source: over 1 year ago

  • How "transparent" are markets really?
So there's an article that came out yesterday from investorplace.com:. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Anyone else see that article telling you which cryptos to sell?
Not on "investorplace.com", not from some editor at a media publication. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Costco to release their corporate earnings on 5-26-2022
It's not actually from Twitter. It's from investorplace.com. I'll add it to the post now. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • This FUD article makes up a fake narrative about Reggie-Fils Aime (former Nintendo exec) stepping down from GameStop board on Saturday leading to our -15% day today. He left the board in June 2021. MSM FUD always leaves me bullish.
I wish I knew how it worked. The guy just seems like such small potatoes... He just started with investorplace.com according to his LinkedIn and has a writing career that's a few years old. Does he just get instructions on what tone to take when he writes these daily articles explaining various stock movements? Is this part of a larger arrangement with the whole website? This dude writes a lot of articles all with similar titles like, "Why did XXX do XXX today?" He's pretty new to investorplace.com and writing in general after checking out his LinkedIn. Is it possible this was just incompetence/laziness? What does the editing and assignment process at investorplace.com look like that results in this? Source: about 2 years ago
