  When in doubt, go to the website of the company they say they are representing and login to check your account. It will be fine. Note: DO NOT do this by googling the company. Go to the actual website, directly. bankofamerica.com , americanexpress.com, microsoft.com, etc. Source: 12 months ago

  So, by default, Android is configured so that random games and apps you install aren't allowed to change the hosts file. Otherwise, they could drop an entry in there saying that facebook.com is now some IP address that they own, or bankofamerica.com, or whatever and steal your data without you ever suspecting a thing.   Have you tried asktrim.com? You send them the bill, they negotiate a better rate, you pay them 15% of the annual savings. And they'll keep coming back for more cuz it helps them too. They've renegoticated my cell bill 4 times in 2 years and saved me over $1,400, and charged me about $450.
