I tried and failed. I manually went through hundreds of 10k/q's using bamsec.com to pull outstanding shares and then calculated it in Sheets by pulling price for the specific date. I factored in dilution if it happened between the 10k/q I was looking at and the date I needed market cap for. Sounds tedious but it wasn't too horrible using bamsec. Now the issue is, these sheets and tables can get pretty huge and have a lot of formatting. As you can see in the picture below, this is way too many tokens for an API call. So the question is, does anyone have experience with these kinds of solutions and is there a good way of chunking HTML/CSV data without losing too much context?
