Have a look at azure pipelines. Pretty easy to set up so you can push code from VS to github or an azure repo and the pipeline will handle deployment to an azure app service. If you are writing the code maybe consider learning Cosmos DB it’s pretty easy to work with and there is a free tier. Also in my experience it’s much faster than a SQL database. Source: 12 months ago
