I travel several times a month so I'm a master packer. For you, I would recommend packing enough clothes for a week. Then pay to have it laundered while at a hotel or a nearby public laundromat. It's a perfect compromise of having enough clothes that will easily take you through 1 or 7 weeks on the road. My wife and I shared an overstuff luggage and hated it. Ranch is a pretty well optimized and battle hardened tcp acceptor. It powers the Cowboy/Phoenix server which scales to extreme level of concurrency and low latency.
