The article matches my experience with SwiftUI [1][2]. For example, AFAICT, it's not really possible to write a usable node-graph editor using SwiftUI due to layout and dependency analysis overhead. The trick is, how are you going to trigger? Touch sensitive surface? Rear-mounted camera (a la the Reactable)? Other camera? (which may have problems with people stepping between the canvas and the camera, rather than getting what their hands are doing… Good for silhouettes, not for touch…). Source: over 2 years ago
