That's actually a great question. Our show is in the top 0.5% of podcasts, and we've been recently asking ourselves the same question. The site I have found with the earliest working cast is audioboom.com. Their earliest episode is #32 titled "Busy Week" from 4/15/2014. This gets you twelve more episodes in front of #44 "Stinging Genitals" from 7/8/2014. The clinker with audioboom is it doesn't have an app so the mobile experience isn't great. I would 100% agree if it weren't for the existence of the music player foobar2000. Both share similar design goals. But foobar takes it a step further by making the entire UI completely user customizable with a simple built in editor. All without sacrificing speed, compactness, or usability.
