I've never listened to any audiobooks that weren't on Audible (not counting people on YouTube), so I can't vouch for any of these options, but quickly googling Spice and Wolf Audiobook for me shows some results from sites audiobooks.com and audiobooksnow.com. I also get a few links to their pages on Amazon.com instead of Audible directly. It's the normal item page for the book, but with format options I can switch... Source: about 2 years ago
What I do, and I'm not advocating for this, is I use ffmpeg to convert my audible books (*.aax) to *.m4b without the encryption so I can use smart audio book player to listen to them. I don't know anything about audiobooksnow.com or kobo, but I'm sure a similar process could be used. If you like downloading and streaming HD and 4K HDR movies/series this may be of interest to you. You can use a combination of Stremio (available on playstore and online at stremio.com) and real debrid to seamlessly stream 4K 10 bit HDR movies/series with no buffering at all.
