• Voice Over

• I downloaded audacity from github as that was what was linked on the ds modding wiki and I needed it for theme background music

  That's valid, but unless you have a reason to specifically want that old version you might wish to get the current version from its official source at https://audacityteam.org . Source: about 1 year ago

• Question from a frustrated user.

  The only other thing I can think of to try is a completely clean install; not just uninstalling Audacity, but trashing any config, cache, and other files it may leave on your computer after uninstall. Only after you've zapped away any trace of Audacity from your system should you download it again from https://audacityteam.org and reinstall. Source: over 1 year ago

• Progressing through the late beginner stage?

  What changed my playing ( and my life ) was a digital multi-track recorder. I use a BOSS Micro BR, but a laptop equipped with Audacity ( https://audacityteam.org ) would work as well.   I use a mobile app called Footpath, which lets you map out a walking course on a map with your finger. Then the app gives you turn-by-turn directions as you walk. I feel like the dog and I have walked every residential street in the La Mesa area by now. Source: over 1 year ago

• Apps for planning your route?

  When I need to run somewhere I am not familiar with (usually when traveling), I use Footpath for the turn-by-turn directions. It imports .gpx route files (there are a surprising number out there on the web), and you can draw/edit routes with your finger. Source: over 1 year ago

• Turn by turn navigation

  I've never used RideWithGPS. However, when I need turn-by-turn nav, I both build my routes and record my activity using the Footpath app. I have yet to find a better app for planning a route on my phone. It does turn-by-turn nav real well too. I suspect it can probably import routes from Strava. Source: over 1 year ago
