  Groove, eh? That's probably the issue. Try installing foobar2000, then download and run the encoder pack, then set foobar 2000 as the default for .ogg and opus. Groove hasn't been updated in years, .ogg support was never native and was half-ass added after Microsoft moved to Spotify, and is pretty much abandonware at this point.   On a PC, you can use MusicBee which I highly recommend and is my daily driver music player/media manager. There may be many other programs that support FLAC ripping, like MediaMonkey, since FLAC is a free codec and companies don't have to pay a license fee to use it like they do with MP3.
