The Web Field Manual can be outdated in some parts, but they still list a very comprehensive directory with all kinds of resources and articles that concentrate on webdesign and webdev. Really helpful especially when starting out, because its a giant compilation that was gathered over years and can still hold a lot of information thats relevant today.
