  I know that you're trying to send USD to get GBP, but if you ever find a need to convert from GBP to USD, check out Atlantic Money ( https://atlantic.money/gb/en/ ), as it seems to be cheaper than all options named (Wise, HSBC Global Money, Revolut etc.) (Flat £3 no matter the amount sent).
