Apple Music for Artists VS Spotify Artists

If your music is up on Spotify and Apple Music go to https://artists.apple.com/ Just claim your artist profile. You will need an Apple ID (not Apple Music subscription - I believe. I completed a single and uploaded it to Apple Music through Distrokid. I am able to see it on Apple Music and can play the music just fine, as well as click on the artist account. However, when I attempt to search for it on artists.apple.com to claim the account as my own, I cannot find it.
