  • Windows 11 Start menu ads are now rolling out to everyone
Tiny10 and Tiny11 were debloated stand-alone ISO's by a developer who chose some of the most despised default features & apps, and removed them in advance from the install media. Based on media from recent years these are still available, but appear to have been surpassed by the more versatile "Builder" approach where you can do more of a personal selection of extraneous features to retain or eliminate. So now... - Source: Hacker News / 19 days ago
  • No Bing, no Edge, no upselling: De-crufted Windows 11 coming to Europe soon
In that case, use AME wizard and uninstall the cruft. https://ameliorated.io/. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago

Very nice. A next step might be to strip telemetry and remote control with the Ameliorated project, https://ameliorated.io/. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago

  • Is it worth using applications that respect my privacy?
I'd also like to throw in Windows Ameliorated as an option to a less bloated, more privacy friendly version of Windows. • Very Low CPU and GPU Usage
As a last hope you could backup your windows install and try installing Atlas OS on top, haven't tried it yet on Win11 but it should clear some process and ram for the game to run : https://atlasos.net/ MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR WINDOWS DISK FIRST. I'd recommand a software that you can launch on a USB stick instead of a program ran from Windows. I used https://www.easeus.com/backup-software/ but many others offer... Source: 5 months ago
  • Vanilla Windows 11 + AtlasOS + Legion Space = BEAST!!!
Ok the whole story. My LLG started BSOD after doing a system restore because of a borked Handheld Companion install. So instead of using the recovery image I thought "now would be the perfect time to try out a vanilla Win 11 install and use AtlasOS” to see the difference it makes when it comes to gaming. So I download the drivers and Legion Space from Lenovo, Win 11 ISO, and AtlasOS files and I do think that it... Source: 5 months ago
