4 alternatives to MoviePass to consider if you're looking for a new movie-theater subscription service
The biggest differences from MoviePass is that you can see three movies a week, whereas MoviePass (again) lets you see a movie a day. And you can use MoviePass in any theater that accepts it, whereas you can only use AMC Stubs A-List at AMC Theatres.
The Best MoviePass Alternatives
Service: There was no love lost between AMC and MoviePass, with the two publicly clashing on a number of occasions. After launching their own subscription service AMC Stub A-List in 2018, the movie chain has experienced a surge in new customers. AMC Stubs A-List allows users to see 3 movies per week in any format they choose, in addition to offering discounts on concessions,...

How To: Make the Most of Your Trip to the Movie Theater with These Apps
Not to be confused with AMC Stubs A-List, AMC Stubs Insider is AMC's free membership. While you aren't allotted any free movies for the week or month, signing up for AMC Stubs will give you some perks you wouldn't otherwise get just by buying tickets alone.
9 Awesome MoviePass Alternatives, From Paid Subscriptions to Free Ones
Good For: This is the best alternative to MoviePass and AMC Stubs A-List for those who frequent a variety of theaters and want the option to see both wide releases and smaller indie films that may not make it to AMCs. • Max launch, FAQ, Info & Details.
Does anyone know for how long the legacy HBO Max app/web service will be still available. I'm talking about https://play.hbomax.com/. Source: 12 months ago
  • green bar flashing on and off in full screen video?
So it definitely happens on the HBO Max app from the play store, but does NOT happen when I stream from play.hbomax.com in fullscreen...weird stuff...but also I don't remember ever seeing anything about a 480p limit from streaming apps, and the HBO Max app is definitely higher resolution than that, it looks exactly the same from the app to the website...thanks for the tip though, I guess I'll just use the websites... • How can I watch this show?
Or are you accessing from some xfinity-specific HBO site and not https://play.hbomax.com/ ? Source: about 1 year ago
  • HBO Max, I have some questions.
They no longer have a free trial directly but you can still get a free trial through Amazon or Hulu. You can also watch some free episodes by going directly to https://play.hbomax.com. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Why you have the option for just HBO without max for the same price for max?
I can't access HBO Now, https://www.hbonow.com shows a "404 Not Found" error and https://play.hbonow.com shows some random HTML. Source: over 1 year ago
