I will like it and I also recommend others to follow this platform. But there is no direct relationship with customers, high operating costs and no control over the refund policy

It provides best shopping experience in India, has provides biggest selections of products, books, software reach and shows best movies, latest podcasts music and everything is nice for us. I like Amazon and also refer others to follow that platform. But there is no direct customer relationship, has high operations cost and there is no control over return policies.

Search for fast boil kettles on amazon.co.uk and you'll get a range of 3000W options to choose from, search for the same on amazon.com and you'll return 1500W results. Source: 6 months ago

I do amazon.com and .ca (I mostly only buy if it's shipped & sold by amazon or atmost shipped by so I can track/refund easier) as well as hlj but shipping and handling usually ends up costing more than the kits I'm buying lol... Source: 6 months ago
I mean, if you try to search for something simple like "buy flashlight", you get like 15 amazon.com results on the first page. So if you're trying to find a quality product from a company that specializes in making just that particular thing, so you can avoid all the Chinese sellers on amazon, you sometimes can't. Also check kindle unlimited for German titles. If they are KU in Germany they usually are as well in the US. You use your US account on amazon.com to then read german literature. If the genre you are interested in has a category, scroll down the sidebar, you might see german as well. Source: 6 months ago
I've got another one on topic of self-hosted file sharing: - FileBrowser running in Docker (https://filebrowser.org/features) - Syncthing running in another container (https://syncthing.net/) Syncthing keeps the files on your PC, Mac, BSD systems updated, and FileBrowser can point to the share and supply a convenient web UI. It works for me, it's kind of like a local Dropbox-lite. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago

You have a normal directory in your filesystem, that is synced to the other peers (which you set up in the "minimal setup"). I have been using it for years, and it works well. It has no problems crossing os'es (i.e. Windows -> linux, linux -> mac) For windows I usually recommend - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
