We use Go for the backend and TypeScript with React for the frontend. We also rely on the OpenID Connect protocol and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). As algorithm for passwords we use Argon2, AES256 for data encryption and TLS 1.2+ for transport encryption. For signing JSON web tokens, we work with the Elliptic Curves Digital Signature.

I would highly recommend not using IAM directly for this. Managing it will be an exercise in pain and suffering. At the very least, set up IAM Identity Center and tie it into your org IdP (or just provision users within IAM IC).
