Https://simfin.com/ is a data provider that uses python API's. The site has many examples of how to use the datasets https://github.com/SimFin/simfin-tutorials You have to pay for the recent data, but the older data is free. Source: about 2 years ago
I am trying to identify companies that, as Warren Buffet advised, have " ... Strong histories of profitability and with a dominant business franchise".
