  • Are these 2 lines conflict with each other or is it just my lack of English?
Thanks, that's why I wanted to confirm. I'm new and the source (allaboutcircuits.com) is on this subs wiki page so I tend to doubt myself rather than the source. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Good design? I have a few questions and context below
Search allaboutcircuits.com for a tool to calculate trace width and current amperage. Source: over 1 year ago
  • 1st year ece tips?
May I suggest allaboutcircuits.com? It has a ton of resources and an EE specific forum (basically Reddit for electrical engineers) but I'm not biased or anything. I'm definitely not a human who works for them. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • In what order should these branches of electronics be studied and what book is a good introduction for each subject?
I would start with something like the course work allaboutcircuits.com has available they have a nice e-book which covers all your basis, you have to start with the fundamentals or you'll have no idea what you're doing in any one of those categories. Each of those categories really is just a specialty within electronics, to understand much of what you're doing you need to be a generalist. Source: about 2 years ago

  • part no's for the power and heat connectors for the hot end on the pcb
Does anyone know the digikey.com or mouser.com part numbers for these 2 connectors. Both are 2-pin but a slightly different pitch. Source: 5 months ago
  • Good mask sampler packs out there?
    1) digikey.com - They sell as few as a single mask of many types including 3M VFlex N95, as well as more specialized disposable respirators like carbon-lined 3M 8247 RN95, or N100s, etc. If you want to see their whole selection, you can choose Tools -> Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) then under "Type" choose Disposable Particulate Respirator and click Apply All. • Leap + This Button Ring = PointCtrl - This is my version
A couple pics of older versions prior to cleaning it up and figuring out the wiring. It's important that the buttons are placed the same way up/down and correctly to ensure you're soldering/using the correct polarity on each of the 4 points. I have an updated diagram I made in case anyone is daring, it's only about 30$. digikey.com has everything you need at the best prices. Amazon is overpriced to use the... Source: 10 months ago
  • Need information for broken regulator
Digikey.com and mouser.com are your friends, if it doesn't show there then things get more difficult. Source: 11 months ago
  • Seeking advice to repair an overvolted controller
Mouser.com and digikey.com are the popular ones but they tend to be a bit overwhelming. I did some digging and found this post and skipping ahead to this image they indicate the location of the voltage regulator, and even list it as being a TI tpsSomething or other, very interesting chip, looks like it can actually handle single li-ion/po cell, but not 2 in series. Bad news is thats not something I would want to... Source: 12 months ago
