Real easy to use-- at first. As time went on it got harder and harder to get it to work. Finally it 'lost' my password, so I couldn't use it, and 'Support' never got back to me; but they did send me a 'customer satisfaction survey.' Hah!

    👎 Cons:    No customer support!

If your phone supports e-SIM I would recommend something like Airalo. Source: 10 months ago
  • Traveling abroad from the states, need some help.
Alternatively look for a data esim like esimdb.com or airalo.com for regional esim you can install prior to departure. Can check the big Euro carriers for regional deals like Orange or 3, etc. Source: 10 months ago
  • Cell Service/WiFi or other options?
I was just the Marangu route. There was wifi in the huts, but I bought e-sim for data. It was available almost everywhere. I used airalo.com. But find even more similar companies. Source: 10 months ago
  • Using Google Fi abroad for 8-10 days?
Esimdb.com or airalo.com is your solution. Source: 10 months ago
  • Traveling to Europe for 7 weeks...
Suggest getting esimdb.com or airalo.com esims prior to leaving the US and use Fi data sparingly hoping not to get suspended. Source: 10 months ago

  • Americans are spending billions on stuff they forget to cancel
I use a service called Privacy [1] to generate virtual card numbers, which I than use with all of my subscriptions. All of the virtual cards are tied to a physical credit card used as the funding source. I get a notification every time a card is charged or a charge is denied (if it's above the set limit or no longer active). This has saved me from fraud where a single-use virtual card # I used to pay for airport... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
  • Buying from China...
Privacy.com is a good one - but I just paypal from temu/ali. Source: 5 months ago
  • Dbrand refusing to steal my money
One more option I can think of trying is using privacy.com with you debit card. Source: 5 months ago
  • Gift cards that work with tutanota.com? Or private virtual cards?
Ideally would be something I could buy anonymously with cash since I want to use it on a health related site, but I'd accept a private/name hidden card at least. Not sure if privacy.com cards, wise, or others might work with it. Source: 5 months ago

Lol, Also helpful tip. If you're going to use Fubo you should also use privacy.com. It lets you set up single use cards with spending limits so you don't accidently get charged. You can cancel the cards at anytime too. Source: 5 months ago
