Disable all of your chrome extensions one by one to see if you can find the culprit. Run adwcleaner from Malwarebytes (https://malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/) in the settings make sure the switch to reset the hosts file is enablee, then hitmanpro (https://www.sophos.com/en-us/free-tools/hitmanpro). Still have a sub for a couple of months on bitdefender total so I can test things on it. If you make "test" malware,virus... You can use https://antiscan.me/ others were https://nodistribute.com, https://spyralscanner.net and so on........... Those websites scan but don't share any info with antivirus companies.
