    If you can flash either Tomoto (FreshTomato or AdvancedTomato), Gargoyle, OpenWrt, or DD-WRT on it then it will be secure. It will not be as performant as a newer router obviously, but it will be secure as you have asked, so ignore the rest of the ignorant comments. Source: over 1 year ago
